It is my goal to provide authentic magickal supplies and services to my local community and beyond. Through proper research I source the finest materials possible to stock your witchy cupboard. I also use these materials to skillfully craft potions, tools, and charms; all at an affordable price for you! In addition, whenever possible I also grow or locally source fresh grown botanicals for my creations. Currently my enchanted garden grows the Roses and Orris Root that I make into many of my potions. In addition I now also source my Mugwort from a local grower too. All of my products are crafted along with the corresponding cycles of nature and during auspicious circumstances to ensure the finest magickal potency in each batch. As of 2023, I am now working with other local magickal crafters in order to support their craft and offer new and exciting handmade products to beautiful souls like you! I now order in skillfully crafted spiritual health and beauty supplies from my lovely friend and neighbor Selena who runs Gaia’s Offerings To You (www.gaiasofferingstoyou.com). I also now carry beautiful crocheted creations! Pixie Pouches and Goblin Sacks are by Draca Art Expressions (Instagram, Facebook and Etsy). My mom, Debbie Buzick also makes fabulous crocheted creations such as shawls, scarves, ponchos, dresses/swim covers, cloaks and more! Each of my mom’s creations is guaranteed to be unique and she does NOT take commissions.

Lore:

I was born under the full Hunter’s Moon in Aries of Oct, 1999. The sun was on the cusp of Libra and Scorpio and Virgo was rising on the eastern horizon. I was raised by my mother Debbie Buzick who all my life has allowed and encouraged me to explore my spirituality and thus inspired my inner witch to emerge. Her and I live together at Buzick Manor, our lovely suburban home that we moved into back in 2013. My amazing boyfriend, Dalton also lives with us and he supports me and my business in more ways than I can describe! We have now been together for over 3 years and our happiness and love for each other grows with each day.

The last name Buzick comes from an Americanized version of the Czech and Slovak Buzík/Buzek; Which is from a pet form of the personal name Božetěch, Bohuchval, and or Budislav. The Germanized form of the Old Slavic personal name Budislav or Butzlaff, is composed of elements meaning 'inspiring glory' or ‘to inspire’. In our family, Buzick is pronounced similar to the word music (muze-ick = Buze-ick). When I was young, my grandmother Hazel Buzick told me a story about the Busick brothers. According to family legend, at some point in history, possibly when my family immigrated to America from Norway, the Busick brothers came to some sort of a huge disagreement. Whatever it was about, the quarrel was so great that one of the brothers, my ancestor saw fit to change his last name from Busick to Buzick, the name that my family bears till this day. I have no idea how much truth there is in this story but it is certainly interesting to ponder. My grandfather Curtis Clyde Buzick unfortunately passed in 1999 just a few months before my birth. Since did not have the honor of meeting my grandfather on the mortal coil, my mother, his daughter in law named me in his honor. Here’s to you grumpa!

So if witchcraft doesn’t run in my family, what makes me a witch? I am a witch because I have devoted my life to the arts of Witchcraft and metaphysics. To add to this, I am proud to say that folks in my community also recognize me as a witch. Due to solely dedicating my life to my magickal craft, I have had the honor of gaining notoriety in my community as being the man that people to turn to for all of their metaphysical needs. But you may wonder, am I a good witch or a bad witch? Well, only bad witches are ugly! So hopefully that answers your question. :)

I am a solitary practitioner of eclectic witchcraft and have been for over 13 years. Officially, my magickal path began through researching and living by Wiccan traditions. As a matter of fact, many of my formulas are based of recipes published by famed wiccan, Scott Cunningham. That said, as much as I learned from Wicca and have respect for Gerald Gardener and Scott Cunningham, I personally found that I needed to make my own path instead of following just theirs. Since my beginning’s in Witchcraft, I have learned from many other spiritual people over the years both in person and through their publishings. In order to further develop my knowledge, I am currently working towards earning my degree at the University of Metaphysical Sciences. UMS is accredited by the AADP, American Association of Drugless Practitioners and the AAMA, American Alternative Medicine Association.

“University of Metaphysical Sciences is dedicated to assisting spiritual teachers as they pursue their life purpose and life work, learn to live with integrity and grace, and teach others how to do the same.” - A section of the UMS mission statement.

F. A. Q.

Magic vs Magick

What is magick? This question is as daunting as trying to find the answer to the meaning of life (some speculate 42 but the debate is still out on that one). Truthfully, you’ll have to discover what magick means to you, it is not something that can be textbook defined. There is no one true definition of this mystical force but the one you will find for yourself.

All that being said, in my opinion magick refers to, intently working with the natural forces of the universe in order to enact change in accordance with one's will. Magick in the spiritual sense is often spelt with an extra ‘k’ at the end in order to differentiate it between from what a stage magician or illusionist does. Magick is one aspect of the spiritual path of Witchcraft and magic is often featured as a fantastical yet fictional form of entertainment. The addition of the letter k is attributed the magician Aleister Crowley. The letter K is the 11th letter of the alphabet and in numerology 11 represents wisdom, intuition, and spirituality. Though despite this it should also be noted that not every witch, occultist, or magician agrees with this particular distinction of spelling.

What is Witchcraft?

Witchcraft can loosely be defined by the practice of magick i.e. the use of spells or divination. With that, in general Witchcraft often refers to the traditions of European folk magick but ultimately it spans across countless beliefs and religions. Thus subtlety is the nature of Witchcraft; it has always been hiding in plain sight. For example, lighting a birthday candle then blowing it out to make a wish is often given as a great example of candle magick! Or perhaps think about a grandmother crafting a sweater for her grandchild. A grandmother may not only be saying prayers to keep her grandchild divinely protected while doing so, but also make sure to leave a single mistake in her stitching so “the devil can escape”. That definitely sounds like working magick to me! In many ways, witchcraft is typically any act of working with the arts of magick. This too can include ancestor veneration/worship, prayer, the use of “lucky charms” such as amulets or talismans, along with meditation and mindfulness. The aforementioned examples are NOT inherently Witchcraft but can sometimes be considered aspects of it.

Being a witch used to traditionally be considered by many to be reserved solely for cis-gendered women, that is women who’s internal sense of gender corresponds to that of the sex they were identified as with having at birth. Though, historically and in this modern age anyone may claim or be labeled with the title of Witch regardless of race, sex, or gender identity! Alternatively, those who identify as male may choose to go by the title of Wizard or even Sorcerer. You may hesitate to claim the aforementioned tiles because they denote a certain level of expertise you may or may not have. With that, I must note that the term Warlock is commonly avoided. This is because the definition of the word Warlock actually means to be an oath breaker or betrayer but some, mainly cis-men, still choose to distinguish themselves with this term regardless. If you feel the need to identify with a term that distinguishes you as a magickal practitioner, consider then using the term magician or occultist to describe yourself. That all said, besides very specific sects and traditions, Witchcraft is generally an open practice and NOT an organized religion but can be treated as such. Anyone can practice Witchcraft! So take back your personal power and call upon the magick that is within you. Who knows? Maybe you’re a Witch too!

What is Metaphysics?

To be dabbling in Metaphysics means to be working with aspects of the universe that are beyond the physical world, I.e. energies and spirits. Witches, such as myself are one branch of many types of spiritual people who’s beliefs and practices fall into the realm of the Metaphysical. Some who follow the philosophy of Metaphysics are also concerned with finding the common line that ties all religions and spiritual beliefs together. Prayer, Shamanism, Crystal healing, and Divination are all technically a part of the philosophy of Metaphysics.

What is Divination?

Divination is the art of predicting events (usually the future) through a ritualized technique. Typically the methods I use in my craft are pendulums, cards, scrying, throwing charms (cleromancy) or any combination thereof. I am not a psychic medium nor do I claim to be one. What I do is interpret what my tools have to say and channel spirit to confirm and affirm what they predict. I am an intuitive reader with the ability to channel information and messages from spirit/source. At this time readings currently start at $50 and may include a written description. I am legally required to state that all readings I provide are for entertainment purposes only.

What are spells & rituals?

Spells are typically intended to manifest your desires and a ritual is usually performed to mark any kind of life event such a birth, marriage, or loss of a loved one. For the novice spiritualist, preforming a spell can can be intimidating and often times very dangerous. It is for those reasons clients will ask me to do spells on their behalf. Right now my starting rate for basic spells is $50 total; I ask for half the total cost of a spell up front and the second half after I have sent confirmation that the work is completed. To upgrade your spell with an extra intention or a reading it is $10 per addition. Upgrade readings are a 3 card spread intended to predict the chances of the spell work having a successful outcome. Once your spell has been completed, I will email you a written description of how it went along with some advice on what to do from then on and a minimum of 3 pictures and 1 video of your working. If proper payment for spellwork is not provided all spells are thereby reversed and revoked. Clients are always encouraged to have some level of participation in their magickal workings.

These days many people are uncomfortable with asking the authorities of traditional spiritual establishments to conduct their rites and services. Therefore, I fulfill this role in a nondenominational way in order to make spirituality more accessible to everyone. Everyone has the right to interact with the divine however they may choose. Although, what I do can be defined as Witchcraft, my made to order spells and rituals can be tailored to the beliefs and aesthetics of the person(s) they are intended for. To add onto that, not only am I a witch but also an ordained minister. Yes! You can be both! I am ordained through the Universal Life Church and therefore allowed (and honored) to perform the rites and services of the clergy!
